Are you in need of a day of pampering for your soul? Give yourself a day of restoration and self-care that will leave you feeling restored, inspired and empowered! The atmosphere for this art and nature retreat will be playful, relaxed, and nurturing. Let yourself be guided through a process to reconnect with your intuitive wisdom, realign yourself with the rhythms of the natural world, and learn how to anchor into these resources so that you may access them on a regular basis in your daily life. Activities will include art making, rekindling your deep connection with the natural world, meditation/reflection, art journaling, and much more! No art experience necessary.
This day-long (9am - 5pm) home-based virtual retreat has been thoughtfully designed by professional mixed media artist and ecologist Jordan Kim to help rekindle your connection with the natural world and your creative spirit. We will meet via Zoom from 9-10:30am, 12-1:30pm, and 4-5pm PST to get to know one another, share in collaborative art experiences, and be guided in our independent explorations. Durring the time in between virtual gatherings, attendees will be "set free" to explore a space in nature on their own using art journaling prompts, forest bathing techniques, and guidance to awaken their senses and tune in to their inner wisdom.
Ideally, you would be able to create some quiet space for yourself for a day - whether that means meeting using your phone in a park with wifi, or giving yourself permission to lock the door of your room and have some alone time. This will be a day for you to recharge. Nearly everyone I speak to is in need of something like this. Please give yourself the gift of a day where you hang a sign on your door reading "Closed for restoration". I promise you won't regret it.
Fee includes most necessary art supplies and 4 hours of *live* guided virtual meetups (broken up into 3 separate sessions in the day).
